The secret of cleaning your glow of the Caribbean jewelry is a fresh cleaning solution. Dirty cleaning solutions do not properly clean deep inside this proprietary jewelry and can actually make your jewelry worse than it was before starting the cleaning process. Failure to change the ultrasonic solution using an old or dirty solution may result in a loss of brilliance and a diminished glow in the dark night. Not to worry if this happens it can still be removed by a Jewelry Store with a history of doing quality IN HOUSE JEWELRY REPAIRS. A Jewelry Store of this standard usually has their own bench jeweler with the proper equipment to do your deep cleaning.

CLEANING SOLUTION RECIPE:
Mix in your ultrasonic:
60% Sudsy (or milky) Ammonia,
10% Mr. Clean with degreaser
30% Hot water (not boiling)
••You may want to add a couple drops of
Dawn Brand dishwashing liquid but only a few
drops to your solution.
CLEANING STEPS:
•• After you have mixed your fresh batch of
cleaning solution stir the solution until it
appears thoroughly mixed.
••Place your Jewelry on a hook & suspend it in
your solution keeping your jewelry away from
the walls & floor of the ultrasonic.
A) using a coded clothes hanger to make your
suspension wire & hook works well if you do
not have a Ultrasonic Rack & hook system
•• Leave your jewelry in the Ultrasonic for
approximately 10 minutes and remove
promptly.
•• thoroughly run your GLOW jewelry under the
faucet to remove all excess solution.
USE A STEAM CLEANER OR WARM TAP WATER
••If you have access to a steam machine this will
completely blow out any remaining debris.
TIP #1) Look for the “clean outs” on the side
of your GLOW jewelry. The clean outs may
be open decorative areas that create
windows to the inside of your proprietary
jewelry located on the side panels and
backside. These are known as CLEAN
OUTS and are designed for steam cleaning
to penetrate deep inside your jewelry that
removes any remaining oils or debris that
were not dislodged by the ultrasonic
cleaner.
TIP #2) Sometimes it’s necessary to use a
soft bristle toothbrush by dipping it into
your mixture of fresh cleaning solution
and gently jabbing and brushing in
between all the small areas of your GLOW
jewelry piece. Once done steam clean or
thoroughly clean under a faucet using
warm water.
FINAL STEP:
Use a soft cloth to gently pat down and dry
your Glow Jewelry.
